In addition to tyre service, we specialise in repairs, diagnostics and periodic inspections of car air-conditioning systems for different makes.
We professionally charge air-conditioning systems with refrigerants from reputable manufacturers, including Honeywell and DuPont.
If the air conditioning is not working, we diagnose the fault and prepare a repair estimate. Specialist tests allow us to identify the cause of the problem and plan the next steps.
Diagnostics of a non-working air-conditioning system cost PLN 300 gross and usually take one to two hours.
We charge air-conditioning systems in oldtimers and youngtimers originally designed for R12 refrigerant, using a reputable replacement.
We also service the latest cars equipped with systems using R1234yf.
Our services include:
- compressor replacement;
- replacement and custom fabrication of refrigerant lines;
- receiver-drier replacement;
- replacement of orifice tubes and expansion valves;
- condenser replacement.
We offer original parts as well as less expensive replacements. Depending on the scope of the repair and the parts used, we provide a warranty of 6 to 12 months.
We do not install air conditioning in cars that were not factory-equipped with it, as such a conversion is usually not economically viable.
We recommend an air-conditioning inspection every two years.
As part of the inspection, we replace the refrigerant, dry the system, top up the compressor oil and check the compressor, blower and condenser fan. We clean the condenser and measure the air temperature at the vents. The service takes approximately one hour.
We recommend air-conditioning disinfection at least once a year. We select the method according to the system design and the level of contamination.
We use ozone treatment, ultrasonic disinfection with a liquid agent, and chemical cleaning applied directly to the evaporator where its location permits.
The service usually takes 30 to 60 minutes and is not part of the two-year inspection.
We TIG-weld aluminium lines and other car air-conditioning components on site. If the technical condition permits, this allows us to repair a leaking line without replacing the entire component.
When carrying out disinfection or an inspection, we recommend replacing the cabin filter, which removes soot, dust and particulates from the air.
The cabin filter should be replaced at least once a year, preferably in spring or autumn. A dirty filter can restrict airflow and cause excessive window misting. We use paper filters and activated-carbon filters.
